Hi guys, finally went down to THG @ TP and rewarded myself for the new year. The purchase came with a lil' bit of drama as well.
Went out with wifey for facial and decided to drop by Far East and TP since we're in the vincinity. Popped into THG and look-see a lil, and saw the sole U1 SDR in the display. (Actually I wanted to buy the U1 for quite a while) The SA kindly showed it to me and I fondled withit for quite a while but decided to put it back and consider over lunch.
Came back after lunch, only to be told the watch was sold to a HongKie after I left. My wife told me its a sign that its not meant for me
Great. Just when I was about to place a deposit and make a reservation, the SA called another outlet for a thorough check and found there's still one piece left in Raffles Place and he went down via a cab to get it for me. The rest as they say, is history.
Kudos to the SA (Jason) who took the trouble for a humble purchase for me. It really made my day.
