It's always challenging to take pictures of shiny watches without a light box. I tried point and shoot without the light box, just used the flash. The warm color on the watch reflects the lights in my living room. This could be neutralized if I have proper software like Photoshop. However, if you you want to take picture of such kind of object, using a lightbox is highly recommended.

Lucas. U using Canon too? If u r seriously keen, I go find out best price. I know MS Color at Peninsula prices are pretty good but I maybe able I get better.
Hary, what body u using again? I was reluctant because of the crop factor of 1.6x on the 400D and whether it will make it less usable due to focal distance. I m primarily workin on my 17-55mm f2.8 so using a 100mm macro maybe to long. What do you think?

I am using 350D. True, 100mm a bit too long for portrait, but for macro is ok. And I have full frame body in mind... one day you'll be mine kekekekeMovement collection:
