Talk about blue hands...... I first fell for a old Grand Seiko with blue hands in Seiko Garage, but felt it was too costly..... then there is the IWC Portuguese white face blue hands which cost even more...... this stowa looks sensible (price wise), is simple, elegant, & well built... hmmmmm.......

Can place order for head only?? Cos the straps are not so great i find also....
    I'm in bad company........

There are other choices of strap (at different prices) and even a deployment buckle which you can choose when placing an order. If you feel all their straps are not good enough, then order with the blue croc and sell the strap to me, hehe.

No discount. Instead you have to pay for the shipping cost too. You would see all the costs at the end of the online transaction. To order you would also need to have a Fedex account. Buyers from outside EU do not have to pay Stowa the VAT so the price for the one you are looking at is actually EUR 840.34 not EUR1,000. BUT you would have to pay 7% GST (via Fedex) when the goods arrives.

Good thing is Stowa only collect payment when the item is about ready to be shipped. All in all it's not very straight-forward process but I think it is worth the trouble.

                Stowa online shop:

                http://www.stowa.de/lshop,shopstart,2004g,en,,,,,,.htm

I don't answer question on prices I paid (and I don't remember anyway in this case), but you can work out from the listed prices (without VAT) + shipping then add another 7% for GST.

Not wrong for you to feel that way...I felt in love with the FA Jones when I saw it on the wrist of a fellow forum member, and then found this Stowa MO very similar and a cheaper alternative

The FA Jones is the watch that made me fall in love with watches. I blame Jones for a pricey hobby. Lol!
                              But I'm happy now.
