It's not a croc but a goat leather strap.
VH varies the leather straps. A replacement is priced rather crazy too.

Strap is almost the cost of a ss bracelet for rolex and servicing....well lets just put it that you can get a couple of regular servicing at rcs.
I dun want to even mention the turnaround time.
But thats the price of owning a piece made by artists.
