My domed watches

Recently been crazy over watches with domed crystal so here are 2 of them i acquire n hope to share with watch lovers here........

(1) Panerai pam 212
Got a nice dome sapphire crystal , 1950 case, flyback chrono and a see thru exhibition back.
This is my favourite Pam at the moment





(2) Rolex vintage 5513
A dome acrylic plexi crystal, very nice even patina on hands, dial and bezel pearl. My favourite vintage over my others modern Rolexes
40 years old watch already so was wondering whether it is still water resistant?

Submerged in water and proofs is still water resistant, that why is call legendary Rolex oyster case

Love the 212 display caseback.
Love to see the 7750 cams operates.
Can't recall any other 7750 Pam with display back.

1. IWC portuguese 2000 (panda)
2. JLC Polaris remake
3. Omega Speedy

These are some I had before together with Pam 217, 127, 233. The one I don't have is SD 1665 (though I have a spare dome). Ha

Gd recommendations KCK, we all like the 1665 at VIP Barry, but price is still very high for this model leh.
Me have the 213, 233, 275, 311 before with dome crystal too but now only keen for Pam372.That will be my last Panerai...hehe

372 is a nice one. I have decided that if I cannot afford a DRSD, then I would at least find a nice rail dial 1665. VIP piece is nice but I am still hoping to find a DRSD first.

I think u shd go straight double red, red sub too common nowadays, 1665 feel overpriced. DRSD is much rarer

Only problem is finding a nice one that doesn't cost my kidney. I like the MK3 or MK2 patent pending but the prices are high despite current lower prices for many vintages. Sigh...

Red Sub too common is true...ha...I got 3 leh....even after selling off 2 already sometime back. Started with Mk6 and Mk4...then found MK2...then found MK1. At least this is the end of the hunt and no more Red sub for me.
