I have always wanted a dress watch and I have fallen in love with the IWC Portuguese Chronograph and especially the 371401, the white dial with gold and blue markers. The rest of the chronographs look great, but I ONLY want this dial.
The opportunity to own this arise last week when I saw a dealer selling this pre-owned piece on another forum. I dropped him a PM with my hp number and he replied me almost instantenously. I was quite surprised to find he is dealing in M'sia and he explained how we could deal via bank transfer and how he will deliver via FedEx Priority. I quickly did a check and found out that he is a reliable dealer, hence i felt confident to go ahead with the deal.
The money was transferred on the same day during lunch and the wait begins. By lunchtime the next day, the money was not through yet, and I was getting worried. However, the money was transferred successfully and received at 4pm. The dealer immediately dispatched the package via FedEx Priority and I was given a tracking notification. The wait continues...
Finally the next day, I received a call from the FedEx delivery guy at around 12pm and he was 5 mins away from reaching my parent's home (which was the address I gave as I will be at work but my parents will be at home). My father called later to tell me that a package for me has been delivered. At that moment, I just wanted to stop work and rush home but I couldn't. Hence, I still have to continue to work while daydreaming of my new watch...
Finally when I got home...my package is waiting for me...
