my observations for the watches -
GMT Pam homage watch - this watch is really, really accurate. Guess ETA movement is worth the dough. over 24 hrs, there is abt +/- 2sec. As good as my rolex sub. Quality wise, it is really good. Far better than those MM watches i saw.
The flying tourbillon - the deviation is abt +/- 5 sec over 10 hrs. Really beautiful design.
Both watches come with 1 year warranty. Really worthwhile!
do check out the exchange rates cos for the last few weeks, the british pounds has depreciated a lot

1) it's using a swiss movement from the famed ETA. Not some chinese or japanese movement. It really shows in the quality. If you compare this with those MM watches, you will see the difference!
2) Comes with one year warranty!
3) The cover is using sapphire crystal!
4) Come with really high quality croc strap...but i have to admit, it took me a while to figure how to attach the strap properly!
5) Here comes the pics

BTW, how much did you pay for it? I send email directly to the seller and was able to get a lower price and lower shipping costs as well. Potential buyers can consider doing so.
19+ pounds? shouldnt be cos' the starting bidding price is always 149 pounds. The seller will relist the watch whenever the bidding ends thus there are always stock available.
I pay for 145 pounds (or is it 140) for the GMT, if i'm not wrong...and with a discount on shipping.

Hmm...was told that i need to monitor this over a period of 24 hours for an accurate reading and it will need to be "run in" for a few days.
I will be tracking the tourbillon over the next 24 hours to find the actual deviation over 24 hrs.
Will post results!

I think my winning bid is around GPB170 range n when u include Delivery. Total is abt near 190. U paid GPB149 which not yet includes delivery right ???
Anyway it's an Auction so prices can be low and high depending on demand so let's not talk abt the price or I will .Last edited by kermit e froggy; 14-09-08, 10:44 PM.the Trails and the Ocean !

From the articles i saw online, a tourbillon will be faster between 0 to 14 secs over a day. Thus i guess it falls within the acceptable range.
You can prob wait for a while more since the GBP is falling quite a lot. Initially the cost was around S$651 in July and by start of sept it has fallen to 631.
With the current economic situation, surely there are still room for depreciation in GBP. Wait for a few more days lo.
cheers
