I have been waiting extremely patiently for the last 7 months since I put my name down for this watch.
Due to its rarity, I did not put too much hope that I would ever be able to own it. Even after leaving a downpayment large enough for a deposit on a house, I was never even given a 100% assurance that they could source it for me. (Roughly translated... I would be returned my full deposit + 0.25% interest if they could not find a suitably priced watch within the year)
This has been considered my grail watch for quite some time and now the hunt is over. Since its launch some 5/6 years ago, this watch has appreciated by more than 150%. I think some fellow members may know what it is already!
This is my story of events....
Earlier this week, I received that all important call that I have been eagerly waiting. It was to inform me that I should be expecting a special package to arrive to Singapore later in the week. What could it be I initially thought?
As I knew I had an extremely busy schedule this week, I was only able to arrange for it to be delivered later. Heck, I've already waited 7 months, so what's a few more days? So I arranged for them to come to my home late at night during the week.
I just came home (nearly midnight) to discover a couple of burly men dressed in dark suits waiting outside my home with a large grey briefcase in one of their hands whilst the other guy was carrying a soft leather satchel. I began to sweat and tremble. Were they after money? No! It was my special delivery.
Into my house we went, sat down and out came some documents from one of the guy's satchel. I signalled to him to take out my package before I sign. I was not going to part with another 6-figure sum before I finally get to touch and molest my holy grail.
My mouth was dry and I somehow was lost for words. My wife was standing behind me, hand on my shoulder also eagerly waiting in anticipation.
A large crushed velvet bag came out. Inside of which I could sense a solid looking case. I grabbed at it feverishly and clumsily tried to untie the bag. And there it was, a shiny quality looking silver box. It was like a large pebble with a smooth finish. Could this finally be the end of my hunt?
I held this box so carefully, I think I could have sworn I didn't open it for at least another 5 mins. I stared gazingly at the outstanding workmanship of this watch case, the best I have seen from any watch manufacturer. It was oozing with craftmanship.
Trying to figure out how to open it, one of the guys kindly assisted. And there it was, in all its glory...

A thousand apologies for the poor pictures. I think my hands were still shaking when I took them. I will get out my tripod and take some better pictures to post.
