I never expect that I’ll end up with an Offshore as I always thought that it is too big for me. It used to be only regular ROs for me:
First I bought a 14970 in blue dial, about 8 years ago:
Then came a Quantieme Annuel:
I also owned the Moonphase:
And the Military Dial 14790 too:
Even the RO Chrono joined late as I didn’t think I can pull off its larger size, but it has become one of my favourite watches:
I only started to look at the Offshore range when I saw the ‘Pride of Mexico’ in picture…
When I chance upon the JBB in person some time ago, I know it’ll be the one for me, as I love its colour scheme as well as the black hexagonal PVD screws – I think it goes well with the black crown and chrono pushers.
The fact that it comes in Titanium also helps as it wouldn’t be too heavy when fitted with bracelet. So I got mine a couple of months ago and have been enjoying it immensely all these while:
I enjoy the JBB so much that I picked up the Sincere to accompany it. I really love the Tantalum bezel, and attached a rubber strap to it.
Best,
Goh
