  • Anyone else collects military issue watches ???

I am quite happy with my Rolex and Tudor collection, so I am branching off to start collecting military issue watches.

I read MWR everyday but just can't bring myself to purchase a 30+mm milwatch, especially after picking up a 47mm Ennebi... I do have civilian versions of 2 watches that were issued to military back in the 60s-70s though - does that count?

If u r used to wearing 47mm watches, then its hard to downgrade. For me, I generally wear 40mm rolex n tudors, so the 33-38mm watches are ok wif me.

Rolex produced quite a number of military issue watches back in the 40s & 50s. You can still find some available around on the web.

Funnily enough, I've never seen any military watch with the Singapore flag or crest on it.
I wonder if any Singaporean Military members here can enlighten me if they issue you with a watch whilst serving your country?
