You have very nice watches to work on...very lucky man.

I am a total amateur...but from what I see...you can skip the flash, the Lange pic was nicer without flash. More natural feel. Try to take pics from an angle so you don't see the reflection of your camera

some of the common mistakes that i still make are

1) taking pictures without cleaning the watch first. this is especially when macro shots are taken
2) taking them without adequate lighting. this will result in certain spots being 'white out'
3) taking pictures with tripod will give better positioning.
