Yes, it's quite a rare piece. I think they only make black-faced RDMs in precious metal nowadays. I picked this up pre-owned from Sandisk7 a few months back. I've been loving it since.

I usually wear this piece for work. For 'smart casual' or dress down, I will wear my Rolex Explorer II or old Tag Heuer.

The button at 2 o'clock is for advancing the date.

Yes, watches with straps are nice, but you see... this is not my only watch.

On days I feel like a brown strap, I will wear my Baume & Mercier Classima Executive:





On days I feel like a black croco stap, I will wear my Glashutte Original PanoMatic Lunar (which I have not photographed yet).

I actually like the strap because it is unique, unlike the usual sporty steel links of Rolexes... and sometimes, the weather gets a bit humid and straps are more practical.
