By the way, it's a 40 jewels watch... That's quite a fair chunk...

seems like most people i've met bought the black dial version....just curious why not the silver/white version bro? i always think that silver/white version makes the watch look bigger

Good question. Was deciding between the 3 colours and below are the reasons Black was chosen:

                        1. I was thinking of the possibility of changing the SS bracelet to a leather one. After looking at pictures for all the different straps used on both the white and the black face, i realised that the black face goes well with the black leather strap or Brown leather strap.

2.The markers, second, minute and hour hands are all in white gold, therefore, if the dial is white in color, it makes the readibility of the time pretty bad. With the black dial , it makes the date looks clearer as well, not forgeting the logo at 12 o'clock position and also the wordings on the watch. There is contrast in a black dial.

                        3. I prefer black dial as t contrast with the bracelet as well.... with that extra blink since the design of the watch is not loud. So it adds on a bit of class to the watch, personal opinion strictly.

                        4. The design was derived from the gun turret of HMS Royal Oak, a battleship. The moment u remove the cap from the gun turret in preperation for firing, when you look into the turret, it looks pitch dark. Therefore, i chose the black dial to bring the design to life, exactly what you will see in real life. I was previously from the navy working onboard a warship.

                        5. Thank God, the waiting list is long and there is only one piece that is available, that is the black. But if it had come in blue and white, then i would just continue to wait again.

I am looking at the PP Natilus now. In my mind, i have already make the decision to go for the Blue dial, due to the inspiration from the original design of the watch. The design was derived from the potholes of a ship. From my navy days, everytime when you look out of the potholes, you will either se the sky or the sea, depending on your position. Both the sky and sea are blue. So the choice is make.... wahahaah
