Panerai Luminor Marina 3 Days Automatic (Pam 312)

Took some new photographs of my Pam 312K using a new light tent I bought. It remains a challenge to deal with the many reflective surfaces (thank goodness the casing is partly brushed!) and you can still make out my tripod in the reflection.

My set-up is actually just the light tent (from here), lit using overhead flourescent lighting (from my room) and 1 handheld off-camera flash. I just kept experimenting with different positions of the flash to see if I liked the results.

The main problem was reflections from the front opening of the light tent - unresolved as seen in the photos.

My favourite too - 1950s case and in-house automatic movement is a winning combination for me. I somehow prefer the 312 to the other models bearing the same 3-day automatic movement because of the clean dial and "Marina" on the dial; seems to hearken back to its roots more.
