Rocking a scratch-proof ceramic bezel with clean-cut engraved numerals, painted neatly in highly visible white paint, the Tisell sets itself apart with the good quality parts used to build the watch. Bracelet quality is tip top, with all hinges moving smoothly and perfectly fitted solid end links. The lack of cyclops and a date provides a beautiful symmetry to the classic diver watch design. The Tisell comes with an unsigned, sterile "fliplock" type clasp that provides a reassuring sense of security for the bracelet.
Protected by a flat sapphire with great inner Anti-Reflection, you can be forgiven for wondering where the crystal disappeared to.
The upgraded BGW9 is a quantum leap from the previously weak lume plaguing Tisell subs. The new bright cheery blue lume is very much welcomed in a dive watch. Not unlike the Omega SMP, the lume pip's glow remains green in colour to add a playful contrast when the bezel is timing in the dark.
