  • My Portuguese

I started out looking at Sinn U2s and the IWC Pilot chrono, den came along the Portuguese while checking out the initial 2 watches at the local ADs.

after deliberating for a long long time, I decided to go with my heart and took the plunge on the Portuguese.....and here it is

    Lovely crown:

Thanks bro, i paid $7770 cash. Saw ur white piece at Ad too, did actually considered getting the white dial with gold numerics, but went for this one as i felt it would be more versatile.

Btw, you mentioned that Hong Kong selling $350 for the deployant issit? Or does HK stand for something else? Sori i noob, but $350 for original IWC straps sound pretty gd px compared to $600 here. Pls advise, thanks

Hi bro, I have no idea for LNIB. However, if you can stretch a bit more, watch arena has 2 pieces, one white and one black, BNIB as advertised for $7200 which i think is a very gd px for a new watch.

Alternatively, u can get one from IWC boutique KL for roughly the same price.

                            Thanks, saw ur PM.

Almost into 5th month this year....still dreaming...hopefully....by the end of the year

At least I know more alternatives...but sounds like BNIB from local ADs quite worth it, those BNIB or LNIB like not much cheaper

Actually, I've another concern...my left wrist sweats a lot even in office attire...how do you maintain the straps? Or any out there that are water-proof or sweat-proof?

Haha....dun tell me to wear it on the right wrist though

i dun really know what other pple does for their leather straps. For me personally, i just use a damp cloth to wipe over the portion that comes in contact with my sweat and make sure its dry b4 keeping my watch.

To be honest, if you are having a problem with leather straps, you either have to get additional straps to wear or go for other types of straps
