WL and I had wanted to get a blue sumo quite a while back. However, after both of us did some searching and emailed to one of the forum advertiser and got no reply, the desire slowly faded off. That was, until the curse "the watch will come to you" came into effect again...
During one of my "backside-itchy" inquiry to a forum seller, I got to know that he actually had two pieces of BNIB blue sumo (it was not mentioned in his post), I immediately informed WL as the price was within our target. WL replied that he already bought two blue Seikos this year and did not intend to add another. Upon hearing that, I was a bit unsure too as it reminded me that I too have two Seikos and one of them I had never used since purchase. So I told the seller that I couldn't make up my mind and that I wouldn't be meeting him that night.
The next morning (i.e. this morning), while in a train going to work (yes, that's how much I have downgraded ), I received a whatsapp from WL asking if I had bought the sumo. I replied: "no. Why leh?". "You created an itch that didn't go away" was the answer. I was so encouraged that I made a very smart suggestion to make an offer to the seller to deal at a further discounted price for both pieces (which in fact, both WL and I were thinking about that from the beginning, haha). The rest is history.
Some quick shots with my handphone at the coffee shop just now (pardon the lousy quality)...
