I am about to take posession of a 16760 "Fat Lady". The dial is a little hazed... and my research is that it may be "going tropical".
Is this common?
Should anything be done?
Which models are prone to it?
I had a similar age 168000 which had a similar problem, but I had it fixed by buying a spare 16800 dial which was relumed ... and now it makes a great daily wearer.
Debating whether worth the hassle for a fat lady.
At first I rejected the fat lady, but then ... it seems to be a common problem for this model given its short production run, so I thought why not ... since price is right.
