Nice to see those vintage ads. What a big change from the watch ads today which barely have any text to read.
The text is also quite meaningful although some of the personalities may not be familiar.
ian: do you know if a 7206/8 bracelet (from a 16758) will fit a 18038 properly? the end links have no obvious markings (from age?)... but i think it's 45.

the 7206/8 bracelet will not fit your 18038 because of the curve at the end links, the day date end links are almost flat.
