    where reputable places to buy incl pawn

    Hi all,

    I will be visiting Singapore soon and like to find reputable places and area to shop for vintage Rolex.

    I notice there are a lot of talks on this forum about pawn shops selling good watches. Any advises to some of the reputable ones you guys have been dealing with is appreciated.

    I am in the market for a nice 1603 and will probably settle for a 1601. I notice 1601 is more available.

    Hmm for that you hav to do some homework and check before you buy..

    My dealer at fortune centre #01-29 shld hav some goodies you might want...

      Is it a dealer or a pawn shop? Is it reputable and guess you have made purchase from them before?

      and the million dollars question, the name of the shop.

        He takes in jewellery,diamond,gold and rolex watches...I would consider him under dealer as it's not a pawn shop.

          you may try places like the bencoolen, people's park, golden landmark. there are shops, however, i do not vouch that the pieces are 100% authentic because due to its age, and some of the watch owners in sg uses non-rolex service technician to service their watch. the parts used may not be authentic. you can always check with the shop owner and see if the authentication can be made @ RSC @ their expense should any of the parts found is not geniune rolex parts.

            buying preowned involves risk, it is up to you to gauge whether it is worth this risk. you will definitely want to have RSC authenticate it before coming home.

                bro, you can try Heirloom Gallery located at the riverwalk. There is a good range of vintages there, ranging from omega to rolexes.
