Congrats in owning a rare piece and it's really hard to come by. Did the previous owner know when he last replaced the battery? If not, suggest you have it replace soonest possible and replace it every 12 to 18 months. Don't let the watch stop than replace battery.ROC charge at S$30.

The trick to maintaining quartz watch is to change the battery every 18 months and not let the movement stop.
Once it stop, problem follows.

It's not just Quartz. If u have seen the movement inside u will be shock.

Looks like I can sell mine (SS white face which is rare to come by) at higher than that) or the TT blue dial (has a nice faded purplish tinge) at a even higher price.
