So what's up with the RSC quoting you to replace your crystal ?? ... something to think about ...

I didn't get it replaced or checked at all in the end. Bro Mille told me to check if there were any anti reflective stuff on the crystal, I used a strong light and a magnifying glass. And while checking, I discovered the lines are the wrinkles on the old dial and not on the surface of the sapphire crystal instead.

Gave myself a scare but absolutely after I realised they were not scratches.

Just to clarify, I called them for the quote and didn't actually bring the watch down to RSC. Hence, the quote.

Wahhh... $250.00 for crystal replacement... Just earlier this year i changed the crystal on my 16613 and i paid ard $150 leh... How come the price difference so much...???

A little noob qn. Is the dial made of white gold on 16233?

usually only the applied markers and logo are gold.

For me I'll leave the scratch alone. Every watch will age with style including the scratches. Jus my 2cents!!

Hi All,

I just acquired a Rolex 16760 aka 'Fat Lady' from a reputable reseller. I am not very pleased with the fine scratches on the sapphire glass. I am in 2 minds to send it to RSC to change to a new glass and do a pressure test.

I note that in the event that I send my watch to RSC, I got to be careful and to remind them not to change the dial and hands of the watch.

Also, my apologies for posting here if the watch is not a vintage.
