there used to be this shop in Sgn Gdns who has alot stocks in 6694 aftermarket dials .
but please be very careful and examine movt if purchasing watch from him.
had a not very pleasant exp before.

was sold watch with recon dial which was spotted by RSC. Good thing he agree to replace.

Thanks bro. As I don't know you also but i feel very comfortable & willing to share below contacts with you as we are all brothers of SRC. During last visit, the shop owner told me he can get the dial of the pics but 6694 design at attractive price. Not sure about now.

My late father in law got a 6694. I am thinking to service it and repair (the crown cannot be screwed in/ tighten); then pass it to my wife to wear.

Any good recommendation for servicing/ repair and polishing.

Thinking to change the dial to red as well.

Dunno all within $600 can be done or not?

hmm expect around 1k for services at Rcs if not u can visit top hour or jw for services
for recon dial u can try bonfield as i know they doing it

Did my 6694 @ top hr... Gd deal... Prep 600 or so for complete overhaul.. Took recon blue dial, polish, winding mechanism replace +++

And just to check, if say done at rsc, they will change dial or recon?
Coz if got new dial and 1k I think it's quite worth it. Everything gonna be new and of cos with the complete overhaul.

I don't think the RSC will do any 'recon' job. It's always new parts they will replace on your watch, whenever necessary.

1 newbie question. Understand that there r 2 types of bracelet for the 6694.
Which r the 2? And most people will go for the thick type right? How do we c?

I think there are three types. IIRC, one's the 'riveted' bracelet and the other two are the thin and thick oysters. Mr triton has described these bracelets with pics here in the forum but you will have to search for the thread.
