hi guys, thanks for the replies. appreciate all the support i've been getting here. well, to be honest, im kinda ol'fashioned so a recommendation of a good second-hand watch shop would be great. at least i can get a feel of things and do some research first before i actually dive into the purchase...hope to hear from ya'll soon...good evening!Comment

Hi guys, I found this 1978 sub ref1680 for sale. I was born in 78 so I feel it was fated for me to find this watch since this will be my first vintage. I'm just concerned about the acrylic crystal though. Any comments on this? It's going for $6.9k ++. Appreciate your help people. Cheers,Comment
