    Here's my humble Oyster Date Precision Year 1972 which I have kept it with me all this while. It's still service my Rolex Service Center year to year and is been non-stop working ever since.

                It's more likely dirt cos I can scrap it out without much effort.

                    if it is dirt, just take a used toothbrush with soft bristles and use a little soap to remove all. then clean the whole bracelet. make sure there is no water retention on whole watch.

                      Tks, that would be easy, I'll do that later when I'm back from work. So natural dry without needing a hair-dryer to instant dry is okay right!

                              I think for the Vintage series, you are right it's one of the best design of all time.
