6694 cant screw back crown

You can do a search in the forum. Some watch 'doctors' I know included JW Watch, Top Hour, Watch Arena or Passions. Call them to check.

If just change the crown,than go JW.

It appears that the crown's thread is probably strip.
You will needs to probably just change the crown and maybe not the crown tube.......
but Since you are changing them...... suggest you may want to consider changing to a slightly larger diameter crown..... its easlier to wind the watch.

And make sure you see the crown is come with the factory seal.

Cause some shop use pre-own crown but charge slightly cheaper
than a brand new crown.

Some shop even worst,they just clean your crown and tube only.

Is all depend on what your condition of your crown and tube.

Update. Got it repaired for $25 at watch-time peoples park. Mr lim was very friendly as well.

if my memory not wrong, a crown with tube from RSC set me back about $250 (2008 prices)

No problem. Hope other members can benefit from this as well. $25 was only the changing of the tube which he assured me was original. He said there was no need to chamge the crown yet.
