I was planning to get it replace at RSC but held back when they told me i have to leave it there for 5 weeks!

not surprised considering alot of watches these days have sapphire crystal. only the few "vintage" or "oldies" pieces left that require plexi.

Becoz RSC will ask u to change case,dials,hands,bezel insert,back case if needed....and for some vintages they do not have the parts oso liao..hehehe...

hehehe....for me...the 6694 is the ultimate Value for $$$ rolex...if there is such a thing as value for $$$ for Rolex...lol....

Robust,rugged,reliable,good size,fuss free....for me lar....me serviced the 6694 every 10 years with no issue...keep great time too....

Now the watch is my wife current day wearer....she does wear the beauty 3 days per week on average...

Now trying to steal back my sub from her..hehehehehe....

Once converted to a female WIS...wife can be a really scary figure....now i see now i dun kinda of situation at home when comes to watches...hehehehe......

But she takes great care of them so for me no worries...hehehe...the most revert back to my seiko mm300...that piece she wun not take de...
