6694 Date Indicator yellowish

Just repaired a 6694 and realised that the Date Indicator is yellowish. The shopowner claimed that there was nothing he could do. Any advice?

True that nothing he can do about it because it's a vintage piece. Well...if it's the date wheel, you can change the date wheel, I rmb watch passion selling it last time.
