  • How to remove 6694 SS bracelet?

Dear bros, i wanted to do thorough clean up on my 6694 but have difficulty removing the bracelet from the case... the spring pin can be pushed in from 1 end of the lug but i can't pull out the bracelet due to the other non-spring pin end on the other side of the lug. I don't dare to force it cos worry will bend the pin... anyone can advice?

    Thanks!

use a tooth pick to poke from both ends of the lugs. once the pin is dislodge, you can remove the bracelet

Use a bigger pin if need.

Ya man first time. Saw lotsa dirt accumulated at the joints so wanna remove to clean up.
Tried both pins and found only 1 end have spring feel leh. If both end also got spring sure no prob to remove...
Putting back even tougher? Hmm... Better dun remove then.

Some aged spring bars may not function very well, but in any case, with the pin hole they are very easily removed. There is a possibility that the spring bar falls apart after being taken out, if it's near its end of life (that was what happened when I removed the bracelet of my tudor). If that happens you just have to replace the spring bar.

          Putting back is easy.

I would say...tricky for a first timer who may not have the right technique.

Yes first time poking the hole is kinda tricky.

For me I do one hole at a time. Press it in then pull the bracelet a bit to let the pin disengage.
Then poke the other hole. And it will come out.

That's what most people do I guess.

Triton's method of poking both holes at the same time I first time heard of - need very good technic I imagine. Will try that double penetration next time hahaha...

                      hmm... hmm...

the newer type harder to remove. have to poke from behind. always takes me a longer time. very tight.
but technique is the same. one side first. then the other side.
