Wah, this kind of service oso got ah... not local some more...!!!
Unprofessional Service leh... not to mention no sense of integrity...
Originally posted by Reborn View Postwell, could be a case of miscommunication but I thought waterproofing was mandatory every time you service a diver's watch.
You go to the garage to have your tyres and brakepads changed...Don;t tell me the mechanic says "You only asked me to change tyre and brakepad only mah... You didn't say must do brake test what...???!!!"
Very sad to say that many watch repair people don't replace the gasket(s) of your watch after opening it, which is quite neccessary to ensure waterproofing purposes...
Normally the watch repair people don't replace either they don't know? or because of cost or because they don't have the spare parts or they just act blur...
I'm not saying all watch repair people are like that... It's just that you need to know your stuff or else you kanna makan lah...
Normally if I get myself or my regular watchguy to service my watches but if I send my watches to repairmen that I don't know, I will always ask if they have the gasket seal(s) to replace on my watches before I agree to let them open it.
Don't know if any1 has the same experience as me...???
For Rollies, I will also ask RSC to do a waterproofing test... just to ensure that the watch is kept clean and dry internally...
