  • Sub dial re-lume

i have a spare vintage tritium submariner dial + hands I would like to have re-lumed with superluminova. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good place to have it done?

i believe it is best kept in its "vintage" stage

Someone gave me his website: http://www.classicwatchparts.com/

... I also came across a guy in Singapore by the name of Jack Wong who specialises in reluming... anyone heard of him?

Mike Young's rates are not bad. I sent mine to Everest Watch Works. It'll be back in early Sept. ... so I can only comment then.

lol, hi jack wong is not doing reluming already since quite some time ago... I contact him to do my relume half a year ago but he say he is not doing already. He sold his things off to someone (not me). I dunno is it the same jack wong you are talking about...

... ha! jack doesn't do relumes anymore.
I went to a guy in the USA who uses super-luminova instead.

I did get the lume job done and the dial installed. It's a beauty now...
but a lot of worrying on delivery ... and the wrong dial returned and had to wait... all-in, about 12-weeks turnaround.

Now... my vintage sub has markers that look a vintaged yellowed patina in the day, and glows green like a new subbie 16610 at night.

About S$250. incl. shipping both ways, and reluming of hands incl.
