  • SS bracelet for 6694

I have inherited a rolex 6694 from my dad a year back. Just wondering that as I was looking at this forum i realised there is a ss thin and SS thick oyster bracelet for it...

Mine looks like it has gotten stretched over the 30 years its been working. Although my dad has sent it for overhaul 2 years back, the ss bracelet was not changed. Do you guys think I should change it?

Mine is currently a dial, silver markers, with changed acrylic crystal so rather new. Serviced 2 years back and keeping good time.

What is the priced involved for changing the bracelet as it looks too loose for wearing..
    Currently own:
Rolex Explorer 2 Black Dial 16570
    Rolex Precision 6694 (Manual winding)
    Blue Dial/Silver Markers
    Seiko SNZG15K1
Ball EMII Diver green inner bezel!
    Stowa Marine Original (White dial)

    Wishlist:
    Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic PAM 392 42mm

    (gone and missing them)
    Omega Seamaster 2254.50
    Breitling Colt GMT (Black dial)

600+ from rsc. can't remember exact thought.

if not source preowned. 200-400+. no waiting. but must look carefully for wear.

for that 6694 king can assist better.

yes, the new oyster bracelet all is of studier build. riveted you will have to source outside of RSC if you insist. same deal goes with folded.

actually i aint too clear regarding the different types of bracelet but yea i believe i want the normal oyster and sturdier types. Thanks a lot.. time to decide whether to get new or if possible a preowned bracelet.

Anyone can recommend a cheaper pre-owned oyster bracelet?

i cant recall the cost of bracelet. however, for the thick bracelet, you can get the whole bracelet replaced. for thin aka the folded bracelet, they say wont sell entire to you. however, whichever part is damaged, if they still have that joint, they can replaced. the third is the rivet bracelet. seldom seen on a 6694. however it is produced during the same period.

try going to people's park complex. there are couple of shops selling bracelet on the ground floor. you can check them out.
