Been a long time since I last visited

I started with vintage watches, still love & keep them. Back in the early 90s we were collecting real vintage watches, those before WWII & up to 60s max. Unfortunately, these days people just don't like small watches anymore & along the way many lost touch with them or even know how to value them anymore.

I'm talking about the enamel dials, silver hinged cases, Hunters, Prince, cushion, early Oysters, Art Decos, bubblebacks etc.

Strangely, they've seemingly become extinct now.

Hopefully I'll be able to find time to bring them out one of these days to show you guys how beautiful these vintages are. One of the best place to view them are from Japanese magazines. They have the best vintages in the world, these guys have impeccable taste & money to keep them.

u can try servicing it at Top Hours at Lucky Plaza. The fella use to be from RSC and he came out to start his own servicing / reselling rolex watches. He is very skillful, so much so that I bump into an watch collector sending in his A Lange and Sohne and about 20 other expensive watches for him to service. That fella actually fly in from switzerland to get him to do the job.

                              Vintae watches are addictive!

                              Hi there,

Vintage watches are very addictive. Got my first green sub then a gmt master II before a friend of mine introduced me to vintages. Laid my hands on a 1675 GMT and never looked back. Going to add a 1680 to my collection soon...

Actually the prices keep going northwards. Sigh!

Now I come to think of it,vintage = high maintainence.

But my grandpa's DJ has no investment value,so my mum might sell it and it has no investment value also.
