I sometimes wonder myself... where do all the vintage rollie owners in Singapore hang out?
And besides the shops, where can one hunt for vintage pieces?
u can go EBAY-online auctions if u got the balls to pay w/o viewing.
LOL
seriously i did my hunting at certain shops - saw a few reds but think
the asking price was too much n condition too terok for me to consider at that time.
in any case i dun really wear my oldies regularly. cos if servicing 1 time
+ change parts will easily cost another 3-4k again (if i take the sub go swimming - bear in mind is acrylic not sapphire crystals)
my daily beater is still a TT sub - see the scratches on the left pic.
i gone to this 'watch collector's haven' at VIP HOTEL, they like to collect and discuss about vintage watch a lot... once when i was there at least 03 of their 'member' wearing vintage explorer II... but i have a soft spot for Vintage sea dweller dome acrylic crystal instead.....
not sure whether mine is consider vintage. But this is a a oyster perpetual date just 1160 ref number. I think it about 30 years old. My grand dad got it for me when I was still a little kid.
