6694 or 1601 ??

can u guys tell me wat the different between this 2 model .. Currently i'm looking for date just 1601, so u guys tink which model is better and more cheaper? .. Hope to hear from you soon. thks

6694 is build like a tank. without the automatic component makes it more
resistant to shock. My father in law wears it through all his training (he was
from SAF), up mountain cross river until he retired and still working.

The catch is, if you don't mind winding everyday.

I personally like my 6694 with a black dial and gold stick markers.They make the watch look stunning.

both are acrylic models, with date, and are still serviceable at singapore RSC.

IMO... if you're just buying the watch head only (no box/papers) the 6694 is cheaper to obtain.

however the 1601 is bigger at a "full" 36mm, and wears better.

in singapore, you are probably gonna find most 1601s in TT and usually with a stretched jubilee... or in full gold... (!)

i would buy the 1601 as it's closer in size to the later model datejusts... and probably easier to sell.

1601 is 36mm and 6694 is 34mm....
Both also TOUGH watch to beat...
