can any bros/sis share their knowledge on this watch? some pictures will be appreciated ...and what will be the current value assuming its condition is 80% mint without b/p. Tks in advance.

well well well... 7169/0 is a really pretty watch. also pretty rare watch.
it is a manual winding chrono oysterdate with 2 register + date, in SS + crown guards.
can trace its lineage to the PN valjoux 727 daytonas; acrylic + valjoux 234, sold cheaper because it was branded tudor, (rolex removed the date, added a 12hr register + micostella balance setup, and possibly nicer finishing).
the 727 and 234 movements are very similar and can share about 80-90% of their parts.
tudor chronos eventually started to look more and more like daytonas on the outside too!
i can't comment about price without looking at the watch (as usual), but you would want to be careful because there are MANY good fakes out there, especially in recent years.

Tudor Monte Carlo Re-edition
As some of you already know by now, Rolex showcase a re-edition of the Tudor Monte Carlo in Basel 2010
The new version is named Heritage Chronograph ref 70330, with a price tag of 4000CHF (approx SGD5300).
Seems like a good price (if there is the usual AD discount) for one of the greatest models in Tudor history...what do you guys think?Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

we'll have to see if the resale market will correct it it.

According to Tudor's press release quoted on the internet it uses a 7734 Valjoux movement...that's not with a DD module is it?good design, but i feel it's overpriced for a piggybacked DD module...Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one
