I just wana revert it back to it's original shape before I handover to my kids for keepsake... wont be selling it though....

          Vintage or Modern Watches

You need to keep all the mechanical watch running. It is like a car with all the running parts need a good workout.

since old rolex are prone to case corrosion... due to the metal used + over 30years..

are there any kind of protective film or sticker to seal those 'prone' areas? like the crown area, cse back area?

then i can really wear them with confidence. hahaha.. rain also not scare.

                Vintage Thunderbird - 1946 to 1947

I've this old vintage that was sent for svc recently. It no longer is water proof. Kindof careful when worn, can't really use it as daily beater.

should be able to to use it as a daily watch. only have to be careful if kena caught in the rain. wash hands.

so long as dont go swimming, bathing with it, it should be able to wear it as a daily watch.

I will only take them out to admire, and wear them at home To me vintage watches are more for collection than a daily beater...i wish i could wear them like my other modern watches.

I just use a cloth (those for cleaning specs) to wipe it after every wear. Never try using brush etc to clean it.
