5513 Stardust Gilt

That's a very nice and clean example minimerc. I believe the early gilts are radium markers instead, thus causing a radioactive degradation to the dial and eventually becoming what we call "stardust". The markers on mine glows faintly (very briefly) when exposed to flashlight. Sorry for the iPhone pic:

Early sub/gmt are radiums, but these non pCG gilts are Tritum/Radium mix for sure. not all gilts are affected by the radioactive burns, I have a GMT gilts with perfect glossy clear coat not affected by the markers and hands which of cos still glow briefly today.
