Newbie here. Just got my self bought Rolex Sub a few months ago.
Like GMT II and saving for it now.

Is there a way to tell 3186 GMT II vs 3185 GMT II, without open it up?
        Anything said in paper?

Is GMT II 3186 is like the new engine (GMT 2c) in the old body style?

3186 movement should be found in a late Z series 16710 onwards. In addition, u can perform the wiggle test to be sure. Unscrew the crown and pull it out one stop. Advance the hour hand forwards and backwards while looking at the GMT hand. If it does not wiggle, it should be a 3186 movement.

            Wow. Super thanks.
Sorry. Another question: Do all 'II' 'Stick' dial 3186?
