DSSD is on my radar, but finding it hard to convince myself to pay so much for a stainless steel...I m a gold or min. TT guy...hope to see a TT DSSD? Heehee...
How did all of you managed to convince yourself to pay so much for a SS? I am trying to bring myself to term with it...it's a stainless steel materials...mentally trying hard...if I can break through this barrier, will dash out now to buy it...;-)
It's luv it or hate it.... Went to try it on and it's love at first sight. Hahaha
I like huge watch but not too big, guess e DSSD just suits my taste
I used to be on the side of the "haters", and I owned the GMT Pepsi, SEA DWELLER, GMT IIC. Those to me are the "right size"
However, as time passes by, the look of the deepsea on others' wrist grew on me, I thought hey, it actually looked very prominent.
But I always thought my wrist are too small to pull off such a big case. ( my watches are all 42mm). Until I got my first Pam (351).
42mm then quickly became "too small" for me. Lol, yes.
Guess what, now I own the deepsea as well, and I'm loving it.
I guess it all boils down to how you adjust to something new.
Remember how the "new" Mercedes E class with Oo oO head lamps was so hated when it first debut? It quickly became an icon.
So those who are contemplating if you should of shouldn't, go for it.
My wrist is smaller than the wrist size recommended in this forum.. But i still bought it after few tries at different Rolex shop.. Has been wearing it everyday since day 1 and did not regret buying the 1st and as at now the only rolex timepiece that i own..
think it may take a while for some to consider buying DeepSea.. But once you bought it, you will regret if you sold it AS you will buy DeepSea again to wear it...

hi, anyone can advise whats the best discount from AD in Europe for DSSD? Friend was in Florence yesterday and retail price is 9990 euro, given only 10% discount. She said she will try to ask again and let me know.
