yr 2009, wear regularly, suddenly it stop. Take out wind, shake still the same. Going down to Rolex center later. Any feel of how much will it cost.

mechanical failure. hopefully it is not something broken inside.

RSC is likely to quote you a full service + polishing. cost is likely ~1k.

you may want to consider third party service technician.

next to RSC is lucky plaza, there is a shop just above the basement food court on level 1, near the escalator.

the shop technician has been used by quite a number of members here.

you may want to visit the shop since you are there already and ask for quote and decide if you want to use RSC service or third party technician.

alternatively, you can click on the banners @ the top where some of the forum advertisers provide watch servicing @ possibly lower price compared to RSC.

            decision is yours.

Rsc will most probably give you a quotation after finding out the problem. If u decided not to fix it with them they will still charge u a fee for trouble shooting.

                  Hi

I believe your case is same with mine.

I have a 2008 Pam 90 that stop or totally can't move despite the power reserve shows there is "power"

Went to King's centre and told me the oil in the mechanical parts dried and need servicing. Cost me $500+. Technician advice me to service watch every 3-5 years.

My father in law has a Rolex that never service for 20+ years. When I bring it to RSC they charge me almost double and take 15 weeks cos the parts are all moldy

                  So lesson is service regularly
