I dont mind buying from my regular local AD although need to pay slightly more than gray sets
watches are meant to be enjoyed, not to look at the 'losses'

i prefer hassle free buying direct from local ADs
good service - eg i was given a full new watch replacement for a rolex i bought from local AD, due to some cosmetic issue inherent in the manufacturing
that was 5 days after i left the shop
you wont get such service if you buy from gray dealers - so will give gray sets a miss even though these are substantially cheaper
