Best value for $ will be >25% below new so your depreciation will be low.

So sub 16610 is my choice for best value

From my opinion, if u are buying it for daily use, I would suggest pre owned. So that if u accidentally knock on It u wont feel so much pain.. When u decide to change in the future, the lost also won't be that much. But of course everyone would like to have a brand new and latest version if $$$ is not a issue..

Both are equally good, cos they are Rolex Submariner btw

The 116610 feels more stable on my wrist than the 16610, maybe because the bracelet of the watch is newer (have not tried a brand new 16610) and the wider lugs seat the watch better.

Will go for the 16610 though - classic design that stood the test of time.
