  • which rolex for less than 6k

    hi all,

i am considering for a Rolex for under S$6k. LNIB with full paper and box.

any recommendation ? which model, which series?? too many choices and it confuses me.

apart from aesthetic, my main criteria is resale value. so, which particular one that can retain its price well.??and meet my price criteria?

    Thanks for advice in advanced.

    Rgds,

New Rolex less than 6k? Think don't have.

Like new is very subjective. Best to also see how many years old and condition. For under 6k with full papers and box, popular and that can retain value, you would probably be looking at Submariners and Explorers at least 6 years old?

Hi, may you can consider the Explorer II 40 mm, pre-owned. Styling wise, looks quite similar to the new model and very comfortable to wear on the wrist. Plus the GMT function is useful when travelling.

As suggested by most guys ... Older sub e2 e1 ... Generally, You won't lose much when selling it and don't expect to make $ within years or months... Enjoy
Just another small small small small watch user ....

Can see some people selling their explorer 2 close to 5 k plus, still hesitating to get as some do not come with papers. How important are the papers? If it is so important why dont the owners keep them? Sorry really a keen buyer but need to learn more from bros here. Thanks

Bro, word of advise... think many of us had gone thru this:
there is 2 types of buyers:
                    1) buy a watch, love, treasure and wear it for eternity: buy the watch that u like, test them out and see if they speak to you
                    2) or second type (what most of us ended up as) buy buy and buy more!!... : look for something more "liquidable" some models that is more tradable like e.g:"chapter ring" 16570 ex2 (40mm)
