Hi all!

Undecided!! Please advise which would be a better choice and reasons if possible. Thanks in advance!!

I am new to Rolex. In fact, never a watch person all my life, but my boss have been saying the past 3 years I should wear a nice watch.

Was looking at the IWC Portugese Automatic, but after comparing prices realised that for a similar price Rolex seems more recognisable as a brand?

Pleasantly surprised that a Sub is not uncle at all! No offence to anyone!

if first watch, or first rolex, then i think LN is better.

Agree with Larry, a classic LN Sub is more suitable as a first rolex. As it is easier to match with clothings as compare to LV Sub.

Man! I was hoping for more support for LV!! HAHA!!

But I got to agree. LN is easy on the eye, a cannot go wrong watch. Somehow there seems to be a rebellious streak somewhere inside me that wants to go for something more out of the norm!!

Lolz! No worries which model u'll get cos it's a Sub afterall! Jus 2 give u sm rebel support within "us" i'll opt for the "Hulk" LV model, cos lately i've seen far too many LN models out there & to make matters worse, the fairer sex r wearing them all the time!

I think you already have a preference, just stick to it!

You are the wearer and being your first (rolex) watch, you certainly would not want to be in a situation of wearing one while thinking of the other (at this early stage)! However, that situation may come later....Ha!

LV looks nice but certain angles. sometimes the green is too loud imo.

in the long term, not sure how the green will evolve and if the fashion is still around. always the case with colored watches imo.

but so long as u enjoy, thats most impt!

Definitely the LV for me!
I don't think the green is too green... and it actually goes with anything you wear!
