  • Question : Sub LV Bezel Differentiation Required Advises

    Hi & Calling for all experts, gurus, profs.

    I have few questions about the the Sub LV Bezel which really puzzling me, therefore really need your tips & info before i decide to purchase one.

    Q1) Someone claimed that there are diff in bezel color tone for newer & older series ?

    Q2) Is the latest V series Darker Green tone ?

    Q3) My finding frm pics posted in other sites that the font of index 40 look diff ? Pls chk out the attach pics

    Q4) Which series with the squary & sharpy font of index 40 ?

    Q5) Frm pic it seen like sharpy font of index 40 provide bigger font size ???

    Q6) Last the pic with 2 watches taken together, also seen that the sharpy font of index 40 looks diff ??? Or mislead by the pic viewing angle ??

    Hope with someone with all the tips can help to shine some light and clear my curiosity

    No la...colour diff is just the flash...and the contrast etc...

      Darkie, I think you're wrong this time. There are different GREEN tones produced in different years... I have a copy of the article from a Jap mag. I will scan it when I am free.

          different shades and color tones were due to different pigments from different suppliers. AFAIK none was ever more desired over another. However you may have a personal preference for a particular shade of green. Because I prefer a light shade. Too dark, looks abit wierd *imo*

                  ??? It's all written in that comprehensive report in rgds to the '4' font. There's even an excel file for you to download and read.
