Used to own a GV. Sold off and looking for a EX1 currently. So my choice now is a EX1.

Yeah, both are excellent, but should really try them on first, borrow from friends at kopi sessions or watch shops etc.

Looks aside, they wear and feel different.
While the case diameter is about similar ( 39mm-40mm ), the Milgauss is much heavier due to the double caseback, and also thicker....
      Honesty.....

To me the 36mm Explorer has a very nice clean look to it. And while searching for one, I grew to love it so much that it had me realized that I prefer it more than the GV. And yes I love how the watch wraps around my wrist

The 36mm explorer is discontinued right? Now only left the bigger 39mm one right?

              tried on both...

the thing abt the exp is tt it somehow looks flat when worn on the wrist... perhaps the increase from 36 to 39 mm 'spreads' the watch abit too much n makes the watch 'flat'...

the milgauss is great... my only gripe is the polished centre-links... making it prone to scratches...

Milgauss GV - good enough to wear, even when doing a MRI scan!
