    Agreed!
Classic look still best. From there you can continue collecting!

For 1st rolex or one-and-only rolex, go for exp1.

If you not planning to stop at one, it doesn't matter as you may end up owning both! lol

Exp 1 for it's subtle n yet easy to match any dressing look. The simplicity of it's look will always fit in any occasion.

Explorer gets my vote... If u know the history of Rolex u will know how meaningful the explorer really is...it's e beginning...

I will get one of those too... It's on my list...

Anyway try both on and get wat u really like...btw e 36mm explorer u tried comes with hollow links different e new one solid link...feel very different...

        Cheers

You should go down to have look at both watches and try it out.

Tried both of them, and bought the Sub in the end! But I'd go for the Milgauss for it's uniqueness. Explorer I is a little too plain for me though....

U r not gonna make decision just by looking at photos or advices. So y dun u ask after go checj out the watches urself n take wristshots of ur own wrist before asking us?

Personally i feel that explorer 1 looks more like vintage than sports model

Went through the same consideration and tried them both on. Like the GV for the green glass and soft iron core, did not like the orange hands and heft. The Explorer 1 39mm was more refined, elegant with a slim profile - and a fantastic legacy too. I went with the Explorer 1 - no regrets after 2 years of ownership

I've kinda of put the milgauss GV on hold for now. Exp 1 still on my target board but I've gotten a DJ recently instead of the two models! And Rolex is certainly addictive! Beginning to get interested in other models as well...

I'm intending to get an exp 1 for with because i don't want my watch to scream Rolex and it's slim enough to fit under my shirt cuff. If I were to choose one for the weekends, gv hands down.

My vote for the GV, subtle with character and got lots of history behind it too. Explorer, common
