I asked my friend to check in Europe for this model. I heard the waiting list is 3 year or more. Is it true? If it's true, why Rolex don't want to make more for sale?

Simple to keep demand up..... and why AD's can sell it for some 1-2.5K over the list price.

That said there are some in Stock in SG... if you know people in AD's.

An AD in chinatown quoted me S$15000 nett for the white dial ss daytona a few months back & the watch was clearly on display in the shop, but the black dial version was not there & usually cost 1-2K more due to high demand among asian buyers. So it really depends on luck & chemistry if you can get a ss daytona or not

2nd hand Daytona SS black dial around $13K, new one around $15K... really hard to choose...sigh~

There appears to be an oversupply of Daytonas in the market. Seeing them everywhere. Prices appear to be rather low too and has not increased relative to other models.

New ones are still hard to come by. Getting a watch is all about luck and opportunity.
