Trade in Patek Nautilus chrono 5980 for WG Blue sub 116619 + cash ... would you?

Seeking your advice. Do you think i should trade in my PP 5980 for WG blue sub. Think both are not easy to find. Should i keep the PP? I bought the 5980 several months ago thinking that is my grail watch. But not wearing much... Cause Too ostentacious for my line of work. My boss knows quite a bit about watches and do not wish him to see me wearing my PP. so have not been giving enough wrist time to my PP.

Would you do the trade? Thanks for your opinions or advice!

Yes a PP is a PP... the 5980 will hold its value much better than a WG blue sub... as it is now grey dealers are selling this watch at about $28k... 5980 still holding its price well...

Agree with the bro above. The blue smurf is likely to capture more attention than your PP. Which makes it worse if you are thinking of keeping a low profile. My opinion. Keep the PP

If I am in the situation, I will not do it, stick with the 5980. If u want a Rolex, get a SS sub as a secondary watch. If u like the blue aka smurf look, go source for a WG sub's dial and bezel from overseas seller, saw it done before.

ok. So i will not regret, and my son will not be sad, i have decided to keep my 5980...

Keep the PP bro.
Get an AP RO jumbo or 15300 for daily. Fits under the shirt and you boss won't even know. I am wearing an AP RO dual time for work.
